How do I update/download stuff for my XBOX 360 slim without connecting it to the internet?
I recently got me an XBOX 360 slim. I do not have an internet connection at home. Is it possible to download updates/DLC for games/demos/etc from, say, an internet cafe, save it to a USB memory stick, then take it home and install it there? If so, do I need to create an Xbox Live account to be able to do all this?
No that’s not possible. If you want to download stuff like that, it has to be from Xbox Live through your 360. The Xbox website just queues your downloads up to start when you connect your 360 to Live.
You can download dashboard updates from the website, but that’s about it.
